Begin by making a traditional Tunisian foundation row of 25 stitches: {chain 25, cast on loops, cast off loops}

Step 1:  Chain 2 (counts as 1st TSS double crochet); TSS dc in next 11 stitches

TSS double crochet stitch:  Yarn over, insert hook through vertical bar, yarn over, draw up a loop, yarn over draw through 2 loops on hook

Step 2:  TSS bubble stitch in next stitch (center stitch in panel); TSS dc in each stitch to end of row

Step 3:  Cast off loops, one for edge, then 2 at a time until 1 loop remains on hook

Step 4:  TSS (Tunisian Simple Stitch) in each stitch across row; cast off loops as explained in Step 3

Step 5:  Chain 2 (counts as 1st TSS dc); TSS dc in next 10 stitches

Step 6:  Make 1 TSS bubble stitch in each of the next 3 stitches; TSS dc in each stitch to end of row

Step 7:  Repeat Steps 3 & 4

Step 8:  Chain 2 (counts as 1st TSS dc); TSS dc in next 9 stitches

Step 9:  Make 1 TSS bubble stitch in each of the next 5 stitches; TSS dc in each stitch to end of row

Step 10:  Repeat Steps 3 & 4

Step 11:  Repeat Steps 5 & 6, followed by Steps 3 & 4

Step 12:  Repeat Steps 1 & 2, followed by Steps 3 & 4

Repeat Steps 1 – 12 for continuous pattern.
