You will need 1 regular crochet hook and 1 afghan hook that are the same size.

Begin with a traditional Tunisian foundation row (chain, cast on and cast off) loops. Make your chain any length desired.

Step 1:  TSS (Tunisian Simple Stitch) across row; cast off loops – one loop first for edge, then 2 loops at a time, until 1 loop remains on hook

Step 2:  Switch hooks; chain 3 (counts as 1st double crochet), double crochet through each vertical bar across row

Step 3:  Chain 1, turn; single crochet in each dc across row

Step 4:  Switch hooks; (make traditional foundation row) – cast on loops through each stitch; cast off loops as explained in Step 1

Repeat Steps 1 – 4 for pattern.
