Triple Crochet Stitch

by M. J. Joachim

Step 1:  Yarn over (twice)

Step 2:  Insert hook in desired stitch or space

Step 3:  Yarn over, draw up a loop (4 loops on hook)

Step 4:  Yarn over, draw through 2 loops at a time (3 times)

Note:  It is customary to chain (4 or 5) chains at the beginning of a new row of triple crochet stitches, which counts as the first triple in the row. Use your best judgment depending on your pattern and/or pattern instructions, to determine how many chains are appropriate for your project.
