Cro-hooks are long, double ended crochet hooks that have a hook on each end. Work made with cro-hooks is often completed by working on one side of the fabric only, and sliding it back and forth across the hook, to alternate colors of yarn in the process of making yardage and projects.

Cro-hooks help create fabric that is a variation of Tunisian crochet, which employs the method of casting loops on and off one’s hook, in the process of making projects. It is similar to knitting, and both crafts (crochet and knitting) have been said to be intertwined in the process of using cro-hooks and afghan hooks to use the Tunisian crochet technique.
